Hi, I’m Danah and I’m a copywriter. I became a writer because my parents wouldn’t listen to me. Maybe it's because I wouldn't shut up as a kid so my spoken word became meaningless, but after being ignored too many times too much, I decided to take the writing approach and see if I could get their attention that way. I wrote them a letter passionately explaining why I should be allowed to join my high school marching band on a trip to Disney World (they had already said no in person, but I had hope for the letter). It worked! I got through to them, and I got to meet Mickey, and it was… alright.
Since then, I’ve been trying to get clients to listen to me in the same way. Sometimes it works, sometimes it just makes me want to go back to my flute.

Hi, I’m Danah and I’m a copywriter. I started my career with an internship at Leo Burnett in Beirut, Lebanon where I was so clueless that I thought I was going to be the little c in a circle “copywriter”, and that “campaign” meant we were working on something political. After writing about cheese all summer, I quickly learned that none of this was the case.
Now I write about a variety of things at BBDO, but not cheese.

Hi, I’m Danah and I’m a copywriter. I started my writing career by lying to my parents and convincing them I was going to use my English literature degree to go to law school. I had no intention to go to law school, and thankfully, I got an internship in advertising my junior year so that gave me enough time to convince my parents of another career path. They’re still confused on what I do, but as long as I keep getting a paycheck, it’s legitimate enough for them.

Hi, I’m Danah, a copywriter, cat lover, and previous marching band flute section leader based in NYC. I went to the University of Texas at Arlington for my undergrad where I majored in English literature and had no career direction, then I took 3 years off and wandered around the world looking for some direction, and after that I went to grad school at the University in Texas at Austin where I found the direction (and portfolio program) that brought me to BBDO.
Outside of work, I watch more YouTube than I’d like to admit, buy books that I intend to read, and paint random color combos on tiny canvases that I then place up on my walls and call “art”.
